Previously, Aasish held notable roles at the Australian Government Solicitor and Ashurst, specialising in dispute resolution, employment, and entitlements, which further enriched his legal prowess. His leadership and advisory roles extend to being a Board Member of the Medical Board of Australia (ACT Board), where he exercises delegated powers in decision-making under the National Health Law. Additionally, as a Committee Member of the ACT Law Society's Professional Standards Committee, Aasish is instrumental in handling and investigating complaints against legal practitioners. His academic background includes a Law degree from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of International Studies from the University of Zurich, complemented by a Diploma of Government from the Canberra Institute of Technology.
