Joshua Peters is a Director at Advance Family Law and holds accreditation as a Family Law Specialist recognised by the Queensland Law Society. He is also trained in Collaborative Family Law, demonstrating a commitment to resolving matters with a focus on cooperation and effective communication. Before joining Advance Family Law, Josh gained valuable experience as a Senior Associate at a respected Brisbane family law firm. In 2018, he formed a partnership with Sonya, further establishing his role within the practice. Josh’s expertise lies in navigating complex property disputes, including those involving trusts, companies, business interests, and superannuation. He is also adept at managing parenting arrangements, child support issues, and domestic violence matters. While he prioritises reaching settlements through negotiation and collaboration, Josh is prepared to advocate vigorously in court if proceedings become necessary.
