About Kyran
Kyran Borges Nunes, a seasoned barrister and solicitor, is a Director at Affinitas Legal. With extensive experience in litigation, he has garnered a reputation for achieving cost-effective and favourable outcomes for his clients. Kyran's expertise in family law and estate planning showcases his strategic and pragmatic approach, ensuring he understands the unique circumstances of each case, guiding clients through legal processes with care.
Kyran holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Pretoria and Murdoch University, complemented by a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and Legal Practice Management. He is duly recognised as a legal practitioner by the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.
Throughout his impressive career, Kyran has handled complex child-related matters, negotiated diverse property settlements, and managed various will and estate issues. His commitment to aligning with clients' goals has resulted in significant success, particularly in the Family Court.
Kyran co-founded a boutique family law and estate planning practice before establishing Affinitas Legal in 2018. Here, he upholds the firm’s vision of delivering legal services with integrity, ensuring clients feel seen, heard, and supported. Previously, he served at WN Legal and Go To Court Lawyers, dealing with criminal law, probate, civil litigation, and commercial law. His early career included roles at FRIEDMAN LURIE SINGH & D'ANGELO and valuable experience through a clerkship with Fasken. Kyran’s educational journey was marked by his practical legal training and various professional courses, solidifying his comprehensive legal foundation.
