Sandra Sinclair

Sandra Sinclair was admitted to practice law in 1998 and to the High Court of Australia in 1999. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws from Flinders University in 1997 and completed her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of South Australia. Sandra has developed a broad legal background, practising across various areas until 2006, when she relocated to Queensland and focused primarily on family law. During this time, she served as an Independent Children’s Lawyer, gaining valuable experience in representing the interests of children in family disputes. Sandra has also worked extensively in domestic violence courts and within Child Safety matters, demonstrating her commitment to supporting vulnerable community members. She approaches her work with tenacity and embraces challenges, confident that no matter is too complex to tackle. In 2018, Sandra returned to South Australia, and the following year she established Alex Mandry Family Lawyers Sunshine Coast. She leads a dedicated team of lawyers and support staff and maintains a strong presence in both Adelaide and Brisbane. Sandra’s client base extends across many Australian states, particularly for family law matters. In addition to her legal qualifications, Sandra is a nationally accredited mediator and an accredited Mental Health First Aider, enhancing her capacity to provide empathetic and effective legal support. She is a member of the Law Society of South Australia, Law Society of Queensland, Family Law Practitioners Association (QLD), the Law Council of Australia (Family Law section), and the Resolution Institute. Outside the office, Sandra has a passion for creative writing, reading, Australian Football League, and spending time with her family located throughout Australia and overseas. Although travel is often a wish, her strong work ethic ensures her focus remains on delivering quality legal service.
