

Aleecia Murray serves as the Principal Lawyer and Notary Public at AM Legal, which she founded in 2007 in Port Noarlunga. Her practice spans federal and state jurisdictions with a focus on civil law, reflecting her extensive experience and legal acumen. Admitted to the High Court of Australia and as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2003, Aleecia also became a Notary Public in 2021. Aleecia's legal journey includes significant roles before establishing her own firm. She began as an Associate to Justice Perry at the Supreme Court of South Australia, then progressed to practising employment law, industrial relations, discrimination law, and civil litigation at a prominent commercial firm, Minter Ellison. Her international experience is highlighted by her work with the United Nations Development Programme, where she collaborated with the Bar Association in Laos. Her academic credentials include a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice with Honours and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and Politics, both from Flinders University. Aleecia has also contributed to legal education, teaching at the Flinders University and University of Adelaide Law Schools, and took an active role as a founding director of the Refugee Advocacy Service of South Australia, showcasing her dedication to advocacy and legal service.
