Fluent in Korean, Esther brings a multicultural perspective to her work. Prior to her legal career in Australia, Esther garnered substantial experience in Canada. She owned and operated a private counselling practice, where she specialised in aiding clients through personal and professional challenges. Esther also served as a Counselling Intern at Peace Portal Counselling Centre and undertook a practicum at Fraser River Counselling. Her earlier legal experience is equally impressive, having worked as an Associate in the Tax, Estates, Trusts and Wealth Management practice at Norton Rose Fulbright, and as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Tax Court of Canada. Additionally, her foundational legal training was enriched by her articling experience at Radelet & Company in Vancouver. Esther's academic prowess is further demonstrated by her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto and her Master of Laws in Taxation from York University's Osgoode Hall Law School. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from The University of British Columbia, underscoring her intellectual versatility and commitment to professional excellence. Outside of her legal work, Esther is an avid painter and reader, finding inspiration through creative expression.
