Prior to founding Asquith Legal, Markus honed his expertise as Special Counsel at a prominent national law firm, where he specialised in estate planning and litigation, including matters with cross-border considerations. His ability to navigate legal complexities is further strengthened by his long-standing practice at Schweizer Kobras, where he advised both Australian and German businesses and not-for-profit organisations on various legal challenges.
Markus is well-versed in international and Australian estate law, including EU succession law, trusts, and family provision claims. Additionally, he provides legal opinions related to German law, focusing on succession and citizenship matters, and assists with applications for German pensions and dual citizenship issues.
