About Anna

Anna Cruckshank is a highly esteemed legal professional known for her impactful work on the Central Coast, in the Hunter region, and across Australia. As the Managing Director of Aubrey Brown Partners, Anna has built an admirable portfolio, representing high-profile clients in the commercial and property development sectors. Her adeptness at delivering tailored, effective advice has cemented her reputation for meeting tight deadlines and achieving client objectives. Her expertise spans various industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical, registered clubs, construction, childcare, hospitality, and the wine industry. Anna's qualifications are underscored by her accreditation as a Business Law Specialist, further complemented by her status as a Company Director accredited by the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She also serves as a Public Notary. Anna's journey with Aubrey Brown began in 1990, working full-time while completing her legal education. She was admitted as a lawyer in 1994 at the age of 22, gaining extensive experience across a broad spectrum of legal fields and fostering a passion for Commercial Law. Her leadership and dedication led to her becoming the youngest partner in the firm's history in 2001, and in 2011, she was unanimously elected as Managing Director. Anna's areas of expertise include business sales and purchases, commercial leasing, franchises, commercial loans, company transactions and governance, and more. Her legal acumen extends to property development, including the sale and purchase of commercial and industrial properties, subdivisions, insolvency, and corporate restructuring, alongside her work with hotels and registered clubs. In addition to her work with Aubrey Brown, Anna holds several influential positions. She is the Chairperson of the Central Coast Sports College and President of the Central Coast Regional Advisory Council at Business NSW. Her contributions to the Central Coast Leadership Forum and UDIA Central Coast as a Director and Committee Member further demonstrate her commitment to regional development and community engagement. With educational credentials that include a Diploma of Law from the Barristers and Solicitors Admission Board and postgraduate studies in Insolvency and Corporate Restructure from Queensland UTS, Anna continues to lead with distinction in the legal landscape.
