Andreas von Altenstadt is the principal of AVA Legal, bringing two decades of experience in property and commercial law. His commitment to delivering excellent client service and achieving favourable outcomes has established him as a trusted advisor across a broad spectrum of legal matters. Andreas' practice encompasses a wide range of areas including property and commercial transactions, business sales and acquisitions, domestic building and construction contracts, liquor licensing, international contracting, and estate planning. He has extensive experience in leasing retail, commercial and industrial properties, as well as managing acquisitions and sales of commercial property and businesses. Andreas provides due diligence services, acts for property developers, prepares joint venture agreements, and offers comprehensive property development and subdivision advice. Prior to founding AVA Legal in 2008, Andreas led the Western Australian office of a national law firm, honing his leadership and legal expertise. He holds a Bachelor of Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia, alongside a Master of Laws from the University of Regensburg in Germany. Andreas serves as an honorary solicitor to the German Consulate and is an active member of the Law Society of Western Australia, including its Commercial Law Committee. He is also a member of the Property Council of Australia (WA Division). Fluent in German, he regularly advises German-speaking clients and corporations engaged in trade with Germany.
