Aziz Bamyani is the Managing Director and Principal Lawyer at Bamyan Lawyers, where his extensive experience in migration law is invaluable. He has a particular focus on complex Humanitarian visas, Child visas, Corporate Relations, and Tribunal Appeals. Aziz expertly leads a team of highly qualified immigration lawyers and a dedicated case manager, ensuring that they consistently provide migration assistance with professionalism and a client-focused approach.
Fluent in Hazaragi, Farsi, Pashto, and English, Aziz has a remarkable ability to make clients feel at ease, establishing trust and confidence effortlessly. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University and further legal training at the Leo Cussen Centre for Law, where he completed both the Legal Practice Management and the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. Additionally, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Philosophy from Bamyan University.
Throughout his career, Aziz has honed his expertise in dealing with protection visas, visa refusals and cancellations, citizenship refusals and cancellations, as well as representing clients in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. His professional journey includes roles as a lawyer with the Tasmanian Refugee Legal Service and experience as a paralegal at WLW Migration Lawyers. Aziz also served as a law intern at West Justice, further broadening his legal acumen.
