Admitted as a Legal Practitioner in NSW, Luis has extensive experience in tax law, gained from working with top-tier law firms prior to establishing his own practice. His expertise includes advising on the tax implications of complex transactions such as the $25bn LNG supply agreement between the China National Offshore Oil Corporation and Australia's North-West Shelf consortium, the spin-offs of major consulting divisions from Deloitte and PwC, and significant corporate mergers and securities transactions. Luis's professional journey includes roles as a Senior Associate at DLA Phillips Fox and Legal Consultant to the Tax Group at Mallesons Stephen Jaques. He also served as a consultant for Allen & Overy, bringing his tax expertise to their Sydney office. His advisory roles extend to Information Exchange, where he contributes as an expert advisor on tax and superannuation matters. A member of the Taxation Institute of Australia's NSW Office of State Revenue Liaison Committee, Luis's dedication to the field is evident through his ongoing commitment to professional development and thought leadership. Fluent in Portuguese, he also possesses a basic understanding of Mandarin and Japanese, enriching his ability to serve a diverse clientele.
