Racha Abboud

Racha Abboud is a Partner at Baybridge, where she co-leads the Commercial and Franchise team. With a keen strategic insight, Racha advises businesses both within Australia and internationally. Her client roster includes some of the country's most prominent brands across diverse industries such as food, retail, fitness, pharmacy, automotive, and real estate. Renowned as an authority in business and franchising, she is known for her innovative approach and bespoke legal and business advisory services crafted to meet the unique needs of each client. Racha is an active member of the NSW Franchise Council of Australia Committee and plays a pivotal role in championing Women in Franchising. Her professional achievements have garnered significant recognition; she was a finalist for the Lawyers Weekly Commercial Partner of the Year in 2020, and for both the Lawyers Weekly and Australian Lawyers Partner of the Year for Mentoring in 2023. She was also a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Corporate Partner of the Year in 2024 and was recently honoured in the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in Australia for Franchise Law. Her extensive legal career includes tenure as a Principal Lawyer at Macpherson Kelley, where she served from 2018 to 2021, and a longstanding position at Coleman Greig Lawyers, starting as a Lawyer in 2000 and advancing to Senior Associate by 2018. This robust experience is complemented by her educational background, having earned a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Laws from Western Sydney University.
