Racha Abboud

Racha Abboud is a Partner at Baybridge and co-leads the Commercial and Franchise team. As a strategic advisor to businesses both in Australia and internationally, she collaborates with some of the nation's most recognised brands across diverse sectors including food, retail, fitness, pharmacy, automotive, and real estate. Known for her expertise in business and franchising, Racha delivers bespoke legal and business advisory services that challenge conventional approaches, ensuring each client receives tailored support. She actively contributes to the legal community as a member of the NSW Franchise Council of Australia Committee and is a passionate advocate for Women in Franchising. Her professional achievements have been consistently recognised; she was a Finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Commercial Partner of the Year in 2020, as well as in both the Lawyers Weekly and Australian Lawyers Partner of the Year for Mentoring in 2023, and the Lawyers Weekly Corporate Partner of the Year in 2024. Recently, Racha was honoured in the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in Australia for Franchise Law. With a career spanning significant roles, Racha has grown her expertise and reputation over the years. She has been with Baybridge Lawyers since August 2021, building on her experience from her previous position as a Principal Lawyer at Macpherson Kelley from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, she dedicated over 18 years to Coleman Greig Lawyers, progressing from a Lawyer to Senior Associate. Racha's foundational education includes a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Laws from Western Sydney University, completed in 2005. Her ongoing commitment to the field and her clients sets her apart as a leader in her field.
