Andrew Lambros is the Managing Director of Bennett & Philp Lawyers and leads their Insolvency and Bankruptcy Team. With over two decades of experience, Andrew is deeply engaged in corporate insolvency and personal bankruptcy, having represented administrators, liquidators, and receivers in complex cases exceeding $20 million in creditor claims. His notable achievements include advising on the administration of a large construction firm to facilitate the completion of numerous unfinished apartments and successfully litigating in a 13-day Federal Court trial, recovering over $1.2 million for creditors. Andrew offers invaluable assistance to individuals and firms, acting for directors, shareholders, and business partners in resolving financial issues, often achieving favourable outcomes without the necessity of liquidation. A member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association, his commitment to the field extends to contributions published in esteemed journals. Andrew maintains a robust construction litigation practice, offering advice on building contracts and participating in significant disputes in the Supreme Court. He also supports the Health Law team with disputes, including pharmacy relocation appeals and complex partnership disagreements.
