Lisa Munro

Lisa Munro is the founder and principal of Blaxland Law, known for her exceptional legal expertise and commitment to her clients. Graduating with First Class Honours from the University of Technology Sydney, Lisa began her legal career at Norton Rose in 2004. There, she honed her skills before joining the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office, where she represented the NSW Police in high-profile civil cases, including wrongful arrest and malicious prosecution. This foundational experience shapes the firm's effective civil litigation practice, where they advocate for clients facing wrongful treatment by authorities. Lisa's career further evolved as she moved to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. Here, she managed significant criminal prosecutions in both District and Supreme Courts, dealing with serious offences such as drug supply and complex child sexual assault cases. Her insight into both civil and criminal law highlights her unique understanding of legal intricacies from both the prosecution and defence perspectives. This extensive experience, drawn from both sides of the courtroom, enables Lisa to offer her clients realistic and clear advice while passionately pursuing their best interests.
