Jessica Flick

Jessica Flick, Director at Bourke Legal, has established a thriving legal practice with a focus on work-related disease injuries. Hailing from Lismore, Jessica completed her education at Trinity Catholic College and Alstonville High School before pursuing a double degree in Business and Law at Griffith University. She later transferred to Southern Cross University in Lismore, where she began gaining invaluable experience at a renowned law firm in Ballina. Her early exposure to employment law, personal injury, conveyancing, and wills and estates proved foundational. Jessica's journey with Pania Watt and Brendan Bourke began in 2014, where she honed her skills as a Legal Secretary and Law Clerk. In May 2015, following her admission to the Supreme Court of NSW, Jessica concentrated her practice on the intricacies of workers compensation, particularly excelling in complex cases. Promoted to Senior Associate in 2021, she now practices from the Kingscliff office, though she frequently visits the Ballina office to meet with clients. Jessica's dedication to her clients is evident in her commitment to providing them a voice and guiding them towards resolution. She is actively involved in the legal community as a member of the NSW Law Society, the NSW Young Lawyers Association, and the Far North Coast Law Society. Additionally, she is an Approved Legal Services Provider with the Independent Review Office. Outside of her professional life, Jessica enjoys staying active with coastal walks and cherishing time with family and friends.
