Pania Watt

Pania Watt has established herself as a formidable presence in the field of workers compensation for plaintiffs in New South Wales. Recognised in the Doyle’s Guide as a Recommended Plaintiff Workers Compensation Lawyer in 2022 and 2025, Pania dedicates her practice to work injury damages claims, with a keen focus on work-related PTSD claims for NSW Paramedics and Firefighters. Her approach is marked by clear communication, efficiency, and directness. Pania earned her Bachelor of Laws from Southern Cross University in 2009 while working as a Law Clerk, and she was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland in March 2010. Her legal journey began in 2004, working alongside Brendan at Stone & Partners and later at Bourke Love McCartney Young from 2005 to 2009. Post-admission, Pania delved into plaintiff insurance work at Bourke Love Lawyers and now serves as a Director at Bourke Legal. Having progressed through all roles within a law firm, from office junior to director, Pania possesses a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies involved in advancing a case. Her passion lies in assisting those injured to regain autonomy and control over their lives, and she is committed to empowering clients with knowledge about their rights and entitlements. With over a decade of practice in Ballina, Pania now leads Bourke Legal's Kingscliff office. Outside the office, she enjoys Pilates and family time on the Gold Coast with her husband and two children.
