Alan Baghdasarayan

Alan Baghdasarayan serves as the Government Grants & Incentives Director, bringing over 14 years of experience in the professional services sector. He began his career at PwC, advancing through roles at Deloitte before transforming a boutique practice into one of Australia's top 100 firms. Alan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University and an MBA from Macquarie Business School. Currently, as the Head of Innovation Advisory at BridgePoint Group, he has been instrumental since May 2019 in securing various Australian Government funding programmes, including R&D Tax Incentives, Export Market Development Grants, and achieving Early Stage Innovation Company status. Prior to this, Alan was a key leader at CharterNet Advisers from August 2015 to April 2019 as a Client Director in the Innovation Advisory Team, building on his previous roles as Senior Manager and Manager. His journey in the field started at PwC, where he gained foundational expertise in the Incentives & Innovation Team, progressing from a Graduate to Consultant between 2009 and 2012. At Deloitte, he further honed his skills in the Global Investment & Innovation Incentives Team as a Senior Analyst and previously as an Analyst. Alan's educational background is complemented by a specialised course at the University of Sydney on the impact of tax on business structures and operations, enhancing his comprehensive understanding of financial and legal frameworks in business innovation.
