Stephanie Newman

Stephanie Newman serves as a Solicitor and Commercial Manager with Briese Lawyers, bringing a comprehensive understanding of property and commercial law. Her career began in interstate conveyancing, but she has since transitioned to focus on commercial matters, providing robust representation for her clients' diverse commercial needs. Stephanie's journey in law commenced after a year in the military, followed by her enrolment in a law degree in 2014. While studying, she worked part-time in various customer service roles across Queensland, Tasmania, and New South Wales, ultimately completing her degree in Canberra. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of the ACT in 2018. Stephanie's legal experience includes her role at Briese Lawyers, where she has been active since November 2024, concentrating on commercial and property law. Prior to this, she honed her skills at Keylaw Conveyancing from March 2023 to November 2024, further developing her expertise. Her career also includes a position with Griffin Legal, where she worked from May 2022 to March 2023. Before embarking on her legal career, Stephanie gained valuable experience as an Executive Assistant at the Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment. Having returned to Toowoomba to raise her two children, Stephanie balances her professional commitments with family life. In her spare time, she enjoys immersing herself in a good novel or unwinding with Netflix.
