Operating with a client-first approach, our Principal Solicitor, Priya Unantenna, manages each case from start to finish while keeping clients informed every step of the way. Priya Unantenna holds extensive qualifications including an LLB and GDLP from QUT and was first admitted to practice as an Attorney-at-Law in the Sri Lankan Supreme Court in 1996. Since relocating to Australia, Priya became a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2010 and earned registration with the High Court of Australia in 2015. Prior to establishing BrizLegal, Priya gained valuable experience in property, migration, and family law, successfully handling appeals in both the AAT and the Federal Court, notably including significant wins in migration appeals. Our practice areas are diverse, covering Power of Attorney, Conveyancing and Property Law, Business and Commercial Law, and Family Law. We handle a wide range of services such as business leases, sales and purchases of varied establishments including restaurants and medical practices, and application processes for liquor and food licences. Additionally, we facilitate business agreements including partnership and loan arrangements. In matters of Power of Attorney, we provide comprehensive support for both general and enduring documents. In the realm of family law, we draft financial agreements under the Family Law Act pertaining to various stages of marriage, manage consent orders for financial and divorce matters, and handle transactions and trust dealings under the same Act. Our conveyancing services cover sales and purchases of residential and commercial properties, including off-the-plan transactions.
