Melissa Vine

Melissa Vine, Principal Solicitor, is a dedicated legal professional known for her commitment to client service and excellence. Holding a degree from the University of Wollongong, Melissa began her career practising in Sydney CBD, Wollongong, and her hometown of Nowra. Her diverse background includes conveyancing, civil litigation, wills and estates, and family law, which laid the foundation for her comprehensive approach to legal practice. Melissa's entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish her own firm, MDV Family Lawyers, focusing on providing expert family law services. In 2023, Burbank & Brown Lawyers and Conveyancers incorporated MDV Family Lawyers, broadening its service offerings. Continuing her vision for growth, Melissa acquired Waldron Schofield Solicitors in 2025, enhancing the firm's presence in the Bay & Basin area. As a member of the NSW Law Society and the Women Lawyers Association of NSW, Melissa is deeply involved in the legal community. She serves as a Specialist Domestic Violence Panel Solicitor and an accredited Independent Children's Lawyer. Her community involvement extends to her roles on the board of ROCC for Women and as a committee member of the Shoalhaven Business Chamber. Melissa's academic achievements include postgraduate qualifications as a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, a Master in Applied Law focusing on Family Law, and she is currently pursuing a Masters in Applied Law in Wills & Estates.
