Thomas Cahill, the Principal of Cahill Lawyers, has been a distinguished member of the legal community since his admission to the New South Wales Supreme Court in 1998. Thomas founded the firm where he focuses extensively on general insurance, commercial litigation, property, and various dispute-related matters. He adeptly represents a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from individuals and small to medium enterprises to some of Australia's foremost insurers, underwriting managers, brokers, and other risk carriers, expertly handling both the prosecution and defence of insurance recovery claims across Australian jurisdictions. With a robust background in both litigious and non-litigious contexts, Thomas has honed his skills through an impressive career in private practice and in-house roles. Since January 2018, he has led Cahill Lawyers with a commitment to legal excellence and client service. Previously, he served as Special Counsel at Bannister Law, focusing on class action litigation, and held the same position at Eakin McCaffery Cox, where he further developed his prowess in complex legal matters. Thomas's extensive experience also includes his tenure as a Corporate Lawyer with Alstom Power, where he was involved in significant corporate legal issues.
