Troy Maloney is the driving force behind Camber Law & Advisory, where he serves as Director. With over a decade of post-admission experience, Troy is a trusted legal adviser to founder-led businesses, guiding them through various stages from structuring and commercial contracting to intellectual property protection, capital raisings, and exits. He provides strategic legal advice to Australian and international companies in sectors such as fintech, travel, health, manufacturing, and real estate. Troy understands the commercial implications of legal decisions, making him a valued partner for founders and directors. His career began at Queensland’s largest firm, McCullough Robertson Lawyers, where he honed his skills in Corporate Advisory and Intellectual Property & Competition. Subsequently, Troy moved to the Gold Coast, contributing to aggregation and ASX listing projects at Ramsden Lawyers. His experience was further enriched through his five-year practice with DBN Lennox Lawyers, focusing on commercial leasing, resumptions, and leading property development transactions. Troy's broad experience is complemented by his in-house counsel role at Penske Transportation Group International and a corporate solicitor position at a boutique tax advisory firm. This diverse background enables him to offer well-rounded legal solutions. Troy holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University, alongside a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia.
