Samantha Mackay

Samantha Mackay is the Principal at Carswell & Company Solicitors’ Maryborough office, where she has been a valued member since February 2004. Over the years, Sam has gained extensive experience in various administrative support roles, including clerk, secretary, and conveyancing paralegal, before pursuing her legal qualifications. She completed her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Southern Queensland and earned her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Bond University. Sam was admitted as a solicitor in July 2013 and appointed Principal of the Maryborough office in July 2019. Sam’s practice encompasses Family Law, Estate Planning, and commercial litigation. She is known for her thorough understanding of the law and her determined approach to securing favourable outcomes for her clients.
