Steven Chamos

Steven Chamos serves as the Legal Practice Director, bringing over 27 years of legal experience across both Australia and the United Kingdom. Throughout his career, Steven has contributed to one of the largest law firms in Australia and two prominent Australian financial services companies. His international experience extends to the United Kingdom, where he was part of a leading off-shore banking and finance law practice. Admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the High Court of Australia, and the Supreme Court of England & Wales, Steven is also a Public Notary in New South Wales. He possesses a rich depth of experience in both commercial and non-commercial legal practice, working with major enterprises domestically and globally, as well as small to medium enterprises in Australia. This diverse experience equips Steven with practical and commercial insights essential for delivering relevant legal advice. In addition to his practice, Steven contributes to academia by lecturing on finance, capital markets, trust law, securitisation, and financial services law at the Universities of Sydney, Melbourne, and NSW as part of their Masters of Law programs. His academic endeavours include delivering seminars, papers, and lectures on various legal topics, further evidencing his commitment to both practical and theoretical aspects of law.
