Marie Sullivan

Marie Sullivan OAM is a highly experienced family law practitioner with over 30 years in legal practice and negotiation. She has built extensive knowledge in family and estates law, as well as corporate and financial services law. Her work primarily focuses on family law, mediation, superannuation, and business law. Marie prioritises practical solutions, encouraging clients to pursue negotiated settlements to minimise the emotional strain and financial costs commonly associated with court proceedings. She is recognised for her strong interpersonal skills, attentive listening, empathy, and professionalism. Her prompt responsiveness and clear, authoritative advice help clients feel supported, respected, and confident at every stage of the legal process. Admitted to practice as a solicitor in New South Wales and Federal Courts, Marie holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws, along with a Master of Laws with a focus on Family Law and Family Dispute Resolution Practice. She is registered with the Federal Attorney-General’s Department as an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and is a Nationally Accredited Mediator. In recognition of her dedicated service to the community, Marie was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the 2012 Australia Day Honours.
