Kristal Naividi

Kristal Naividi is the founder and principal lawyer of Coastal Lawyers, bringing extensive expertise from her 13-year tenure with the NSW Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. During her time as a criminal prosecutor, Kristal represented the Crown in numerous complex and high-profile cases, including murder, manslaughter, sexual assault, and multi-million dollar frauds. Her experience across the Local, District, and Supreme Courts of NSW laid a robust foundation for her subsequent transition into criminal defence. Kristal is also a compassionate and insightful family lawyer, currently advancing her knowledge with a Master's degree in Family Law. She is deeply committed to helping clients navigate their family law matters outside of the courtroom, advocating for collaborative law to preserve relationships for the benefit of children involved. Her background in public housing has instilled a profound sensitivity to clients from disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring she presents their cases with dedication and clarity. Beyond her legal practice, Kristal's contributions have been recognised through various accolades, including nominations for Terrigal Women of the Year and recognition as a Women's Mentor of the Year finalist. Her involvement in the community is also reflected in her role as an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with Olive Mediation. Kristal's qualifications are comprehensive, with admissions to the NSW Supreme Court and High Court of Australia. Her educational achievements include a Master of Laws in Family Law, a Graduate Certificate in Criminal Practice, and various diplomas in legal practice.
