Nick Stephens

Nick Stephens serves as a Partner at Collins & Stephens, bringing a wealth of experience to the firm since he joined in 2003. Following his graduation from Victoria University Law School, Nick was admitted to practice in 2005, further enhancing his comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape. His practice primarily centres around general commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and insolvency, underpinned by his prior experience in mercantile collections. Nick's legal acumen extends to his dealings with statutory authorities, and he frequently appears in various court forums. These include the Magistrates, County, and Supreme Courts of Victoria, as well as VCAT, the Federal Court of Australia, and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia. His role as Director of Traders Collection Services since 2016 further exemplifies his leadership and commitment to excellence in the field. His academic journey began with a Bachelor's Degree in Arts (History) from the University of Melbourne, followed by a law degree from Victoria University.
