Nic Gould

Nic Gould is the Managing Director and Principal Lawyer at Colwell Conveyancing Group, leading the firm with a keen focus on leveraging technology and enhancing customer experience. Since Colwell Conveyancing Group's acquisition in 2022, Nic has transformed the firm's operations, emphasising communication as the core of their approach. His commitment to fostering client relationships and integrating innovative processes has set new standards in conveyancing services. In addition to his leadership at Colwell, Nic is deeply involved in community service. He serves as a Board Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for RSL Queensland, contributes his legal expertise as the Honorary Solicitor at the Gaythorne RSL Subbranch, and is a co-founder and Director of Protegas Australia Pty Ltd, a veteran-owned consulting firm. Nic’s dedication to community engagement is further reflected in his role as a board member for various organisations. Nic has a diverse professional background, having held roles such as Director at Sentra Tech, where he led initiatives in smart home integration, and previous positions in commercial and property law at GKS Law and McCullough Robertson. His experience extends to management consultancy with firms like Downer and KPMG, and operational risk management with the Australian Defence Force. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Laws from the University of Southern Queensland and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia, Nic combines his legal knowledge with strategic insights gained from advanced management and governance education.
