Rhodri Williams is the Managing Director of Compo Legal, bringing over 15 years of expertise in personal injury claims, representing clients across a range of complex matters. Admitted to practice in both Australia and the UK, Rhodri is internationally accredited, which highlights his commitment to delivering exceptional legal services across multiple jurisdictions. Since founding Compo Legal in 2016, Rhodri has focused on claimant compensation, working on a no-win, no-fee basis for cases involving motor vehicle accidents, medical negligence, slips and falls, work accidents, professional negligence, and superannuation claims. He leverages his broad experience to handle cases in NSW, ACT, QLD, WA, SA, and internationally in the UK. Rhodri's career began with roles that honed his skills in handling complex medical negligence and personal injury cases. His tenure at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers and PK Simpson in Sydney involved significant responsibilities, including case management and business development. Before relocating to Australia, Rhodri established a strong foundation in clinical negligence whilst working with Leo Abse & Cohen Solicitors in the UK. His role included representing patients injured due to medical errors, with successful outcomes in high-value cases involving catastrophic injuries. His capabilities were recognised with accreditations from the Law Society and AvMA, reflecting his proficiency in handling intricate legal matters. In his early career, Rhodri defended Welsh NHS Trusts against medical negligence claims whilst at Welsh Health Legal Services, demonstrating his versatility and comprehensive understanding of both claimant and defendant perspectives. Rhodri’s legal education includes an LLB from Cardiff University and further qualifications from the University of Sydney, reinforcing his dedication to legal excellence and continuous professional development.
