Abdullah Jamil

Abdullah Jamil is the Principal Solicitor and Director at Conveyancing Canberra, where he leads with a wealth of experience and a commitment to legal excellence. After relocating from Lahore, Pakistan to Canberra in 2016, Abdullah pursued his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Canberra, completing his degree in June 2021. He further honed his legal acumen by undertaking the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law, achieving distinction in December 2021. Admitted as a solicitor to the ACT Supreme Court in April 2022, Abdullah has since developed a broad legal practice across various domains. His career began with a position at Ray Swift Moutrage & Associates, where he engaged in commercial leasing and family law among other areas. Abdullah's journey continued at Maxwell & Co. Barristers and Solicitors, where as a principal solicitor, he expanded his expertise in commercial leasing and mediation. Throughout his career, Abdullah has demonstrated a strong capacity for managing complex legal matters and a dedication to achieving favourable outcomes for his clients. Before his tenure in legal practice, Abdullah accumulated valuable experience as an auditor with DOMA and as a summer intern with the Pakistan International Human Rights Organization, where he contributed to significant human rights advocacy and research. Outside of his legal career, Abdullah is passionate about South Asian history, cricket, and exploring diverse culinary experiences.
