Matt Duker, Director and Licensed Conveyancer, brings over 27 years of expertise in managing conveyancing files, and played a pivotal role in the early establishment of conveyancing companies in Melbourne. For more than a decade, he has operated his own successful conveyancing practice, demonstrating a deep commitment to client care and cost-saving strategies, particularly through pre-contractual advice for purchasers. Matt effectively oversees the entire process from initial engagement to settlement, ensuring a seamless experience for his clients. His year-long stint in one of Melbourne's largest real estate agency groups provided him with valuable insights into the necessity of preparing Contracts and Section 32 Statements promptly to capture early buyer interest. This period allowed him to refine his negotiation skills, offering his clients a distinct advantage in property transactions as he is well-versed in the intricacies and tactics of the real estate market. In 2007, inspired by innovative ideas around online contract preparation, Matt was drawn back to conveyancing and founded Conveyancing Excellence, becoming one of the initial conveyancers in Victoria to hold a conveyancing licence. Recognising mutual benefits, he merged Conveyancing Excellence with Hayton Kosky Lawyers in 2010, a move that expanded client services to include Wills, Probates, and Leases, alongside comprehensive legal advice. Matt's passion for customer service traces back to his formative years in his family’s aluminium window business. Holding a Business degree with a major in Marketing, he combines this with extensive knowledge of Victorian property law to instil confidence and assurance in his clients.
