Paul Cosgrove

Paul Cosgrove, the Principal of Cosgroves Lawyers, brings over four decades of legal expertise to his practice. He founded Cosgroves Lawyers in 1994, drawing on a robust foundation of legal knowledge and practical experience. Paul holds degrees in law, commerce, and economics from the University of Queensland, complementing his legal acumen with comprehensive commercial and economic insights. His career began as a Law Clerk with the Lucas Inquiry and the Chief Crown Prosecutor, where he honed his skills in the legal process. Paul then transitioned to the role of Barrister-at-Law, practising both in Brisbane and Townsville, which enriched his litigation and advocacy skills. Before establishing his own firm, he gained valuable experience as a Solicitor at Collas Moro Solicitors. In addition to his legal practice, Paul has contributed to legal education, serving as a tutor and Moot Master at the QUT School of Law, and lecturing on animation copyright at Griffith University.
