Beginning her journey at the Caboolture Courthouse as a clerk, her commitment to law was recognised early when she earned a scholarship to Bond University, where she pursued dual degrees in Psychology and Law. Over the years, Carolyn has held pivotal roles within the Department of Justice, Corrective Services, Child Safety, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, and Queensland Police. Additionally, she contributed to education by lecturing in Justice Studies at Gold Coast Tafe, focusing on subjects such as Policing, Corrections, and Evidence. With a legal tenure of nearly 20 years as a solicitor, Carolyn has consistently demonstrated dedication to her clients in various areas of law, including criminal, domestic violence, child protection, family law, and civil law. Her vast experience in courtrooms, advocating on behalf of her clients, underscores her profound commitment to justice and her community.
