Tony Pereira

With over 25 years of professional experience, Tony Pereira has built a distinguished career providing legal services to business proprietors, entrepreneurs, Local Government Authorities and private clients. For more than two decades, Tony has operated his own legal practice, assisting a diverse range of businesses, from small consultancies to large companies listed on the Australian stock exchange. Tony holds degrees in commerce and law from the University of Queensland and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. He is also a member of the Australian Tax Institute, reflecting his strong expertise in taxation matters. Beginning his career in 1988 with a multinational professional services firm, Tony developed a solid foundation in taxation and business services. He later gained valuable experience in insolvency, property, business and commercial law across several professional service firms. His in-house roles include serving as corporate legal counsel for a prominent Australian retail franchisor and as the sole legal counsel for an ASX-listed national retailer specialising in automotive accessories and leisure products. Tony’s current practice encompasses business transactions, commercial property, local government law, as well as wills and estate planning. He has provided sound legal advice to clients across a broad spectrum of industries including health, retail, manufacturing, transport and logistics, construction, local government, real estate and development, finance, information technology, and wealth creation. In addition to his work with business clients, Tony has considerable experience in assisting private clients with personal legal matters, focusing particularly on asset protection, estate administration, wills and comprehensive estate planning.
