Chris Sheehy

Chris Sheehy is a dedicated barrister and solicitor with extensive experience in criminal law, honed through his exemplary work in Commonwealth prosecutions and law enforcement operations. With a career spanning over a decade, Chris has excelled in roles encompassing prosecution, investigation, and intelligence at both State and Federal levels. Before transitioning to private practice, Chris served as a Federal Prosecutor with the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions. During his tenure, he adeptly handled a variety of serious and complex cases, including drug trafficking, organised crime, child exploitation, cyber offences, and financial misconduct such as tax and welfare fraud. His role also included dealing with money laundering and proceeds of crime cases, as well as community policing in the Indian Ocean Territories. Chris also boasts a strong investigative background, having held senior roles with the Australian Border Force and the NSW Police Force. His responsibilities included managing investigation teams, conducting covert operations, and providing specialist training to government agencies.
