Jodie Chapman

Jodie Chapman is a dedicated solicitor, admitted in 2010, who has honed her expertise in wills, estates, and conveyancing over the past six years. As the Principal Solicitor of CY Legal, Jodie is committed to ensuring that legal services are both convenient and accessible, fostering a welcoming and personal environment for her clients. She finds great satisfaction in collaborating closely with clients to address their concerns and devise practical solutions. Her understanding of clients' needs, particularly in estate planning and family matters, is deeply personal, derived from her own family experiences, having a husband and three grown children. Jodie's parents are enjoying retirement, which further informs her empathy towards clients planning for their family’s future. Beyond traditional legal practice, Jodie's career has been enriched by her roles as a legal writer in compliance and regulation, and as a legal researcher, where she assisted in the defence of litigated matters. This diverse background is complemented by a previous marketing role in the publishing industry, reflecting her long-standing passion for reading and communication. Jodie holds a Bachelor of Arts from Sydney University, a Diploma in Law from the Legal Profession Admission Board, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law. She is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and is admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW.
