About Rosana
Rosana Chan is a highly accomplished legal professional, serving as a Director at CZ Injury Law. She began her academic journey in 1998 at Griffith University, where she pursued a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. Her early career in law commenced with an article clerkship at a national firm, focusing on CTP and property damage.
Rosana's expertise was further enriched by a scholarship to teach common law and contract law at Beijing University. After two years abroad, she returned to Australia, completing her degrees and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Queensland College of Law in 2006. Her commitment to legal excellence continued as she earned a Master of Laws in 2009 from the University of Queensland, majoring in Civil Litigation and Intellectual Property Law.
Since being admitted as a solicitor in 2007, Rosana has developed a broad legal portfolio, specialising in areas such as workers' compensation, public liability, products liability, and aviation claims. Her experience spans roles in global and national law firms and as in-house Counsel for WorkCover. She has been actively involved in pre-court proceedings, regulatory appeals, and litigation in various courts, including the District, Supreme, and Federal Courts.
Rosana has held significant roles such as Special Counsel at Park & Co and Senior Associate positions at Clyde & Co and Wotton + Kearney. Her legal acumen is recognised in her admission to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Additionally, Rosana brings linguistic proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, enhancing her ability to serve a diverse clientele.
