Amila Weerasinghe

Amila Weerasinghe serves as the Managing Director of Destiny Migration Solutions in Australia and its counterpart in Sri Lanka, as well as Destiny Education Solutions. As the Principal Migration Consultant for both offices, Amila offers expert advice on Australian immigration matters. He earned his Bachelor of Laws from the Open University of Sri Lanka in 1998 and furthered his expertise with a Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practise from the National University of Australia in 2010. Amila is a seasoned professional in migration law, with extensive experience in skilled migration, student, partner, parent, business, and employer-sponsored visas. He adeptly handles Migration Review Tribunal and Ministerial Intervention cases for his Australian clients. Amila is a professional member of the Migration Institute of Australia and Migration Alliance Australia. His diverse career also includes a Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka and a National Diploma in Computer Studies from the Australian Computer Society. With over 15 years of experience in human resources and IT with prominent Sri Lankan companies, he has held pivotal roles such as Human Resources Manager at a major multinational corporation, overseeing recruitment and staff development. His IT background also saw him coordinating branch IT solutions and training at Ceylinco Life. This rich blend of legal, human resources, and IT expertise enables Amila to offer comprehensive and informed migration solutions.
