Stephen Devenish

Stephen Devenish is the Principal at Devenish Law, bringing decades of extensive legal experience to his role. Armed with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the Queensland University of Technology, Stephen was admitted to practice in January 1994 and has since established a formidable reputation. As a solicitor of both the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia, he delivers comprehensive legal services to a diverse clientele. Stephen's legal journey began at Gadens Lawyers in Cairns, where he served as Managing Partner for over 14 years. Here, he honed his expertise across various facets of law, particularly in commercial dealings and dispute resolution. In 2010 he laid the foundation for Devenish Law, where he has led the firm for more than 16 years, focusing on a broad spectrum of legal services. Stephen offers his legal acumen to business owners, property buyers, body corporates, and Indigenous organisations, providing guidance through complex transactions and disputes.
