Leon began his legal career after graduating with a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University in 2002 and obtaining a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Leo Cussen Centre for Law in 2004. He previously served as a Partner at Berger Kordos Lawyers, where he developed his expertise in family law over 16 years. His qualifications include being a Family Law Accredited Specialist, an AMDRAS Accredited Mediator, and an Accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.
