Jared Zak

Jared Zak is the Principal Solicitor and founder of Dott & Crossitt, with over two decades of expertise in law and finance. He earned First Class Honours in Law and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Economics and Finance, from the University of Sydney. Jared's legal journey began in Japan, progressing through senior legal roles in Sydney and London, including positions at Mallesons Stephen Jaques and as Head of Secured Funding at Santander Bank in the UK. In 2014, Jared founded Dott & Crossitt with the aim of creating a client-focused law firm that simplifies the stress of property transactions. The firm was established on the principle that buying a home is a significant milestone, deserving accessible, human, and exceptional legal support. Under Jared's leadership, Dott & Crossitt expanded from overseeing five transactions monthly to over 500 across six offices. This growth is mirrored in over 1,000 five-star Google reviews and top rankings in conveyancing volume in New South Wales from 2022 to 2024 and nationally among the top five firms. In 2023, Jared orchestrated the successful acquisition of Dott & Crossitt by Local Agent Finder, culminating in 2024 as one of the largest M&A deals in Australia's conveyancing sector. A recognised thought leader, Jared advocates for the vital role of conveyancers and the integration of innovation and AI in property law.
