Admitted as an Australian Lawyer in 2014, Kieran holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from Deakin University and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Leo Cussen Centre for Law. His career began with a legal traineeship at the Leo Cussen Centre and the Office of Public Prosecutions in Victoria, where he honed his skills in legal advocacy and practice. Kieran has a strong background in criminal law, having worked with busy suburban firms and representing clients in various Victorian court criminal jurisdictions. Recognised as an accredited criminal law specialist by the Law Institute of Victoria, his expertise encompasses criminal and traffic law matters, alongside Intervention Orders and Personal Safety Orders. His dedication to achieving the best outcomes for his clients, combined with an engaging personality, has fostered excellent professional relationships with court staff, prosecutors, and magistrates. Before his current role, Kieran gained diverse experience with organisations like Dribbin & Brown Criminal Lawyers and Go To Court Lawyers, where he served as both a solicitor and an associate. During a placement with the National Australia Bank's Group Financial Crime Risk team, he conducted incisive research on sanctions enforcement and money laundering, while his time with their Products and Regulation Legal team involved drafting legal provisions and analysing legislative changes' impact. Kieran's proactive approach and commitment to his field have solidified his reputation as a dedicated advocate within the legal community.
