Edwin Hume

Edwin Hume is a Principal at Duffy & Simon, bringing over 45 years of legal experience to his role. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Melbourne in 1975 and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia in 1976. Edwin’s practice encompasses commercial law, joint ventures, property developments, estate planning, succession, superannuation, sales and acquisitions, local government, as well as retirement village and aged care matters. His extensive knowledge of conveyancing, local government regulations and subdivisions allows him to provide comprehensive advice to clients navigating complex property and development issues. With a unique perspective shaped by his service as the first Mayor of Cardinia Shire and former Councillor of both Cardinia and Pakenham Shires, Edwin applies detailed local insight to assist clients with subdivision applications, land acquisitions, planning and environmental concerns.
