David Dilger

David Dilger is the Director and co-founder of Edge Legal, bringing a wealth of expertise in industrial relations and safety. His leadership skills were recognised when he guided an organisation to become a National Finalist and Joint State Winner of the Australian Human Resources Institute People Management Awards. Understanding the intricacies of the industrial relations system from an employer’s standpoint, David has played a pivotal role as the Chief Workplace Relations Officer of a peak Employer Organisation. He has delivered training for businesses under the Federal Government's initiatives post the introduction of the Fair Work Act, and has been a key figure in shaping enterprise bargaining strategies, especially for large organisations with diverse union interactions. David’s portfolio is rich with experience, including providing due diligence training to executives and board members and leading comprehensive safety audits. He has excelled in crisis management, offering critical support in workplace fatalities, and guiding organisations through complex legal processes, from safety investigations to coronial inquests. He has been instrumental in managing large-scale business transfers, ensuring seamless integration and regulatory compliance.
