Costa Bakoulis brings a valuable blend of legal expertise and extensive industry experience to the firm’s registered clubs and hospitality practice. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Notre Dame and draws on a strong foundation in corporate and commercial law to support clients in areas including licensing, commercial transactions, governance, compliance, and regulatory matters specific to registered clubs. Before embarking on his legal career, Costa spent over ten years in executive management roles within hospitality venues at registered clubs and hotels. This hands-on experience provides him with a deep understanding of the operational and regulatory complexities these organisations face, allowing him to offer advice that is both legally sound and commercially practical. Beyond his professional work, Costa has demonstrated leadership and teamwork through his involvement in football at various competitive levels, including participation in the National Premier League and Illawarra Premier League with clubs such as Sydney University, APIA, Inner West Hawks, and Wollongong Olympic. He has also represented and captained the New South Wales Futsal team, reflecting qualities that translate into his approach to client service and collaboration.
