

Sean Whittle serves as a Director and is a seasoned banking and finance practitioner with a strong background in litigation and dispute resolution. Sean graduated from the TC Beirne School of Law at the University of Queensland and commenced his career as a litigator with a major Queensland firm before gaining international experience at White O’Connor, an entertainment litigation firm in Los Angeles. In 2006, he returned to Australia, launching his own firm, which later merged with Elliott May in 2009. In his role, Sean handles mortgage lending and enforcement, including documentation, loan agreements, and mortgages, as well as possession proceedings and sales of mortgaged properties. He advises a diverse clientele, from public companies to small businesses and individuals, on litigation matters. His expertise spans debt recovery, intellectual property, insolvency, contractual disputes, and defamation. Sean also provides guidance on corporate compliance, capital raising, business finance, securities enforcement, and workplace matters, delivering practical and insightful advice to meet his clients' needs.
