Tawnee Dickinson

Tawnee Dickinson leads our Perth office with distinction, practising in Family Law and Restraining Orders. With extensive experience handling complex child-related matters, family and domestic violence cases, divorce, and financial settlements, Tawnee is known for her dedication to securing fair outcomes for her clients in a cost-effective manner. After receiving the prestigious Harry Perkins Scholarship in 2013, Tawnee graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from Curtin University in 2017. During her studies, she broadened her legal perspective by undertaking international intensive units at Ghent University in Belgium. Tawnee was admitted as a Legal Practitioner to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2017 and was entered on the roll of the High Court of Australia in 2019, showcasing her commitment to furthering her legal expertise. Tawnee's career is marked by a diverse range of experiences, having worked in boutique firms, as well as top-tier and Doyle’s listed firms. This breadth of experience is complemented by her completion of the practice management course in 2024, underscoring her capabilities as a Family Lawyer. Tawnee is particularly equipped to represent clients in Family Court and Restraining Order Hearings. She comprehends the intricate interplay between Family Violence Restraining Orders and the Family Court. Coming from a rural background, Tawnee is attuned to the unique needs of farming families and the structures of farming businesses, offering an approachable and personable service to her clients.
