Marc Sukkar

Marc Sukkar, FCIArb, serves as the Principal at Ferrer Lawyers, recognised for his logical thinking and strategic approach to attaining client objectives. Marc's expertise spans commercial transactions and various forms of dispute resolution, including mediation, adjudication, and appearances before civil and criminal courts as well as tribunals. He is adept in international arbitration and has represented stakeholders across numerous industries in dealing with complex cross-border transactions, construction and infrastructure projects, corporate affairs, and sophisticated financial and cyber crimes. Marc's proficiency extends to handling money laundering cases, white-collar crimes, and global asset identification and recovery in family law matters. His extensive advisory experience covers common law and civil law matters, benefiting clients in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the Middle East. Marc has counselled government entities worldwide, members of Middle Eastern Royal families, high net worth individuals and families, private entities, and many of the world’s leading companies, appearing before Australian and international courts and tribunals. Before founding Ferrer Lawyers, Marc was a partner with LALIVE in Qatar, working in partnership with LALIVE Switzerland and the US firm Holland & Knight. His earlier career in Australia involved collaboration with leading law firms from 1996 to 2008. Marc also served as head of construction, projects, energy, and dispute resolution for Salam International Investment Limited in Doha (2010-2011) and managed projects and disputes for Msheireb Properties under the Qatar Foundation, overseeing all legal affairs for the Msheireb Downtown Doha mega project (2011-2012).
