About Rosie
Rosie has over a decade of legal experience, practising predominantly in criminal and traffic law. After her admission as a lawyer, she worked as tipstaff to a Justice of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. This role provided invaluable insight into the practice, procedure and inner-workings of the highest court in the State. Since that time, she has worked in several legal centres, including the National Children’s and Youth Law Centre (now, Youth Law Australia), Redfern Legal Centre, and the Australian Pro Bono Centre at the University of New South Wales. She has also worked in a top-tier firm in Sydney. Rosie is passionate about criminal defence. She understands that a person chargedwith an offence is often made to feel like an “offender” before any findings are made against them. Rosie treats her clients with empathy and understanding, and gives them an opportunity to be heard. The passion she has for her job, together with her extensive experience, allows Rosie to deliver strong advocacy and practical advice in the most challenging circumstances.
